Paraplanning

A paraplanner (also known as an associate wealth planner, assistant wealth adviser amongst others) holds a special role in today's financial adviser environment, in between an administrator and an adviser.

They are expected to have excellent report writing skills, good statistical analysis, strong research skills, knowledge of compliance issues and time management.

A paraplanner can be the start of a path to becoming a financial adviser, though the paraplanner may be more appealing to those who prefer non-client facing roles, and there is scope to progress.

Paraplanners are expected to gain qualifications in Financial Planning, especially R01, R02, R03 and J09 of which three are part of the Diploma in Financial Planning.

We currently have roles available throughout the UK, please see our vacancies section and search for paraplanner in the job type drop down menu.
